8th Annual Event - "What's Cookin' in Dallas? The Sounds of Music!!"
On Thursday, April 19th, 2018, One Man's Treasure presented "What's Cookin' in Dallas? The Sounds of Music!!!," our eighth annual spring event that provides funding for our vital mission to indigent men returning to our communities after years of incarceration.
One Man's Treasure was able to raise $68,000, an amount essential for our organization to continue its mission in 2018. This year we are expecting over 1600 men to be helped in the North Dallas area upon their release.
Due to the great collaboration and participation of some key volunteers, our evening turned out even more unforgettable than expected.
First of all, we would like to thank all of our sponsors an donors who continue to make our annual event and program possible and all the guests who were able to attend!
Thank you to the artist who provided the artwork for this year's annual event, Suzy Mortiz-Rawdin.
Thank you to Bishop George Sumner of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas for opening the evening in prayer.
Eddie Deen Catering for providing our guests with a four-course dinner of iconic dishes from the event's featured cities: Nashville, New Orleans, Chicago and New York.
Mark Cozart for presenting a medley of jazz, blues, country and Broadway from our highlighted cities.
Thank you to Toyota of Rockwall for featuring the raffle's trip and congratulations to the winners of both of our raffles!
