One Man's Treasure is excited to announce that the 2017 event was a highly successful fundraiser, even more than the previous year. Thanks to the generous participation of our sponsors, auction donors and attendees, we continue having the ability to impact the lives of men coming out of prison and providing them with tools that can restore their place in the community.
We want to directly thank all of the auction donors and to Toyota of Rockwall for supporting our cause in many different ways and for sponsoring the trip to the California Pacific Coast that was raffled off that evening.
A special thanks to our business auction donors, as well:
For those who were unable to attend, we missed you! This annual fundraiser was held at a new venue, the magnificent Texas Discovery Gardens and Butterfly House and provided our guests with an evening of fun activities, including auctions and a raffle, highlighted by a delicious four-course California Coast dinner prepared by the renowned Eddie Dean. The theme of the evening was based on Maya Angelou’s famous quote “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty,” which in many ways describes the returning men we serve who successfully reintegrate into their communities. We were blessed to have two of these past clients share with our guests how One Man’s Treasure had provided them with a needed “hand up” when they returned home.
Enjoy some pictures of our event and thank you all for coming! For those who were not able to attend, we hope to see you next year!
